Abstract

Maintaining water supply is not easily maintained. Deterioration of pipes, water pollution and overpopulation are examples which can cause problems. In this paper, a system is designed to monitor and control the water level in a tank remotely. Water level is detected by the sensors and then sent to the user remotely, and depending on the user’s desired water level, they either give out an action using an application remotely or do nothing. The system includes ultrasonic sensors placed at the water tank, connected to an Arduino Board microcontroller and then connected to a mobile application. A GSM network may be used to communicate with the Arduino Board through the application, so that the user can monitor and control the parameters anywhere and anytime.
